🔥 Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
3–4 years of leadership experience, preferably in foodservice
High school diploma or GED (college or military experience is a plus)
At least two years of supervisory experience
Associates degree plus one year of line operations experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous restaurant experience preferred
Strong operational leadership in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards; must maintain ServSafe certification
General knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Ability to work, prioritize, remain organized, and perform duties accurately in a fast-paced environment (may include noise, hot/cold temperatures, or other elements)
Frequent lifting and carrying (25–50 lbs), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, stooping; able to stand for prolonged periods
Strong business acumen to proficiently use computer programs and systems
Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods using a computer
Strong teamwork skills—able to take and give direction effectively
Professionalism, composure, and discretion when resolving customer concerns or issues
Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 50 miles to other restaurants in your market
Flexibility to work a 50-hour work week, all day parts and days of the week

🧩 Essential Functions
As a General Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing the key functions that drive operational excellence, team engagement, and financial success:
Complete weekly payroll and submit it on time with minimal errors
Review all minor team member timecards for compliance and violations
Use multiple systems to manage recruitment, development, recognition, and retention of management and crew
Utilize forecasting software to build optimized crew schedules
Write the weekly management schedule
Develop employees’ skills and knowledge to improve productivity and efficiency
Manage conflict constructively through effective communication and emotional intelligence
Understand, improve, and manage team performance
Delegate management duties effectively across the leadership team
Actively reinforce Company Core Values
Engage the restaurant team in Company initiatives to create connection and alignment
Coach the management team on missed opportunities and explain the impact on food, labor, and core systems
Manage inventory—including counts, ordering, and waste monitoring
Use financial management strategies to drive restaurant profitability
Review daily target or daily food variance reports to identify issues and coach the team
Confirm all managers conduct quality walkthroughs throughout the day
Ensure all food safety procedures are executed per company and health regulations, taking corrective actions when needed
Ensure full adherence to all Federal, State, and Local laws, including labor regulations
